black magic at the beach

I went to the beach today which is a very rare occurrence because 1) i hate basking in the sun 2) i'm not really into getting sand everywhere and 3) the thought of submerging myself in a body of water contaminated with dead animals, piss, semen, blood, and salt isn't very appealing. BUT, like i said, on a rare occasion, usually around summer, I'll drag myself out of the city and make my way to the beach.

I must've picked a good day because today ruled. It wasn't crowded, wasn't hot as fuck to the point where you burn thin layers of skin off from walking on the sand, and there was a cool breeze blowing so all in all it was nice.

yes, i am aware i am wearing the most clothing on the beach. so what?

if i cant afford it, i guess i'm gonna steal it.

I'm not the type of guy to wear cologne ever - but, for some reason, I own cologne. And for some other reason, I got new cologne today. It's really hard to find the type of cologne you actually like because most of the times you spritz yourself in it at the store and it smells like rubbing alcohol. You won't really get the real scent of it until like an hour later after it's settled into your skin.

I've jumped from Marc Jacobs to Jean-Paul Gaultier and starting today I'm trying out this new YSL scent. It can be bought in two different quantities. The one I got is a smaller version (and obviously cheaper). But what's really rad about it is it comes in this little leather pouch. The perfect cologne on the go! it's a light smell and so far I'm digging it.

i went exploring today at the old zoo at griffith park. it used to be a zoo but they relocated it. i'm not sure how much of the original structures are left but theres a few you can go into. most of them smell like piss, but its pretty cool. anyways, here are some pictures i took today:

apparently, britney spears has been offered a role in the movie "the yellow star of sophia and eton." she'll play the main role (sophia) who creates a time machine back to WW2 where she meets some jewish dude in a concentration camp, falls in love, and gets killed by some nazi's. lets say it together in unison...WTF? sounds like whoever came up with the idea for the movie is perma-stoned. maybe she'll get to revisit her days as a baldy if she takes the role.

ive been meaning to do one of those "what're you carrying around in your bag" posts mainly because i always carry a tote bag or messenger bag around.

this is actually a cleaned up version of what's being tossed around. usually there is a handful of receipts or some used condoms in the mix.
